  SPEAKER ANNOUNCEMENT

Dr Iain Stewart, geologist and Professor of Geoscience Communication, will speak at The Geography National Teachers Conference: Weather Hazards, Climate Concerns in London on 11 June 2010.

Iain has made frequent appearances on television to promote the subject; he has presented series such as Journeys From The Centre Of The Earth... and The Climate Wars. His latest series is How Earth Made Us, a five part series on how the planet has shaped human history (BBC Two, January 2010).
