The World Bank Human Development Data, thought by many to be a more accurate definition of how the real quality of life for a citizen of a particular country has been published.

It shows which countries are rising and which are not. It is always interesting to ask:
(1) why have some risen faster than others?
(2) Why are developed countries not normally included in the data presentation – then the real gaps would be more visible.
