This course will help students
- to focus on the key areas of the specification
- to understand the main concepts involved in AS Biology
- to develop skills in data handling and how science works
- develop skills in examination technique so that they gain full credit for their answers
- to understand better what the examiners are looking for
Students will be given a practice test to complete before the first day, that will form the basis for the first session on 'Where are you going wrong?'. They will also be given practice questions on each of the topics covered in the revision sessions. Some of these questions will be used to review progress in examination technique. Students will also be given an assignment involving data handling and how science works at the end of the first day, which will form the basis for a session on the second day.
