Biography

Dr Andrea Sella, EPSRC Senior Media Fellow at UCL Chemistry, is renowned for his explosive and intriguing Chemistry demonstrations. Andrea has made exploding cotton for Heston Blumenthal’s tudor feast, appeared on the BBC’s ‘Bang Goes the Theory’ and been an integral part of the recent ‘Chemistry: A Volatile History’ series.

In a blog on New Scientist, Andrea comments: “Coffee table books may look beautiful but they seldom get you through that exam”.
